Brooke Banwart

Brooke Banwart is Sephora’s Senior Vice President, Merchandising Skincare, overseeing the skincare category and product initiatives for the US. In her role, Brooke leads a team of merchants focused on the continual development of providing a robust, diverse skincare product assortment for Sephora clients.
Since joining Sephora in 2014, Brooke has served in various merchandising roles, including oversight of Sephora Collection – the retailer’s in-house brand that offers amazing formulas, wide shade ranges, and accessible price points across beauty categories. Prior to that, Brooke led as Vice President of Fragrance Merchandising, and during that time she established a first-ever clean fragrance category offering and created an interactive experience in all US stores called, “Find Your Fragrance”- a central informational hub and quiz that helps clients discover fragrances through their “scent family” preferences. In her current role leading skincare, Brooke has been pivotal in bringing highly anticipated brands like rhode skin and Dieux to Sephora shelves, as well as expanding consumer access to groundbreaking Korean beauty brands like Beauty of Joseon and Aestura.
Prior to joining Sephora, Banwart worked at Gap Inc. for 10 years where she held merchandising roles across several brands including Old Navy, Outlet, and Piperlime. Earlier in her career, she spent time in both buying and inventory management across a number of different categories. Brooke is a California native and lives in Lafayette, California with her husband and two children.
