Tonja L. Johnson is an award-winning patient advocate, speaker, consultant, and Founder and Executive Director of Beautifully Unblemished Vitiligo Support Group, Inc., dedicated to advancing awareness, advocacy, and equitable care for individuals living with vitiligo and other visible skin conditions. Diagnosed with vitiligo in 2014, she has transformed her personal journey into a global mission to reduce stigma, elevate the patient voice, and build inclusive, empowered communities. Tonja serves as Vice President of Persons with Vitiligo and a Board Member of the Global Vitiligo Foundation, while advising healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and nonprofits on patient engagement and inclusive program design. Through national speaking engagements, media appearances, and leadership in the dermatology community, she inspires others to embrace resilience, foster belonging, and thrive in their own skin.
