Dr. A. Silvia Ross is cofounder and managing partner of Triangle Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates.

She is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She attended medical school at the Federal University of Paraná in Paraná, Brazil, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Michael Reese Hospital Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the combined program between Michael Reese Hospital Medical Center and the University of Chicago.

Dr. Ross currently is the immediate past president of North Carolina Rheumatology Association (NCRA) president. With a passion for advancing women in medicine, she also holds positions as Co-Chair of Global Affairs for the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR) and Local Chapter Leader for AWIR in the Triangle area. In addition, she is on the Planning Committee for the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Winter Rheumatology Symposium. Dr. Ross has been a co-investigator in the Corrona (now CorEvitas) registry, and has participated in multiple clinical trials and registries over the years.
