Dr. John Giacona is an Assistant Professor of Applied Clinical Research and Internal Medicine–Cardiology at UT Southwestern. He is a hypertension specialist whose clinical and research work focuses on blood pressure regulation, resistant hypertension, primary aldosteronism, and cardiovascular disease prevention. He is also active in cardiovascular education and professional leadership, including work with the American Heart Association and the Academy of PAs in Cardiology.
