Adam Gepner, MD

Dr. Gepner is a faculty member in the University of Wisconsin Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and the William S. Middleton VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. He is the Director of the Madison Gerofit program, an exercise program that promotes health and wellness for older Veterans. Dr. Gepner has won numerous awards for outstanding research and teaching, including the MESA Young Investigator Award and the Cardiovascular Fellowship Outstanding Educator Award. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Gepner is a federally funded physician-scientist with expertise in advanced imaging of the cardiovascular system with a focus on understanding and improving cardiovascular health in older adults. His research is translational and clinical and uses novel non-invasive techniques to diagnose and personalize treatment plans for common cardiovascular conditions that impact millions of older adults.
