Noreen Nazir MD, FACC is an academic cardiologist, focused in preventive cardiology with an interest in risk factor modification, quality improvement, access to care and implementation science.  She currently is part of the ACC Prevention Leadership Council as well as serves as founding member of the ACC Driving Urgency Steering Committee and sits on the Concise Clinical Guidance Writing Group for Immunization as Part of Cardiovascular Care.  She additionally was part of the writing group for the recent 2026 ACC Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic Syndrome Guideline-at-a-Glance, is Workgroup Chair for the ACC Smoking Cessation and Prevention WorkGroup and a member of the  ACC Cardio-Rheumatology and Nutrition and Lifestyle Workgroup.
