Tanya Sonderby is originally from New England, where she enlisted in the Air Force Reserves as an Aerospace Medical Technician. After graduating PA school from the University of New England in 2010, Tanya relocated to Colorado to accept a commission as a medical officer in the Air National Guard and begin her civilian career in a high acuity outpatient Internal Medicine practice. She began working at the Eastern Colorado VA in December 2015 as a Compensation and Pension examiner and then in the Office of Community Care prior to joining VET-HOME in March 2023. Tanya retired from the Colorado Air National Guard in January 2025 at the rank of Major after 21 years of service. Tanya is ACPM level 1 and 2 certified in Military Environmental Exposures.
