Jennifer Auger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Diplomate in Colorado with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. She joined the Veterans Health Administration in 2019 as a PACT Social Worker for the Eastern Colorado VA, then to the VA Caregiver Support Program and the VA Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program.

Jennifer currently serves as the Complex Care Program Coordinator for the Eastern Colorado VA, where she oversees Care Coordination and Integrated Case Management (CC&ICM). She is an active member of the VA National Social Work Leadership Council Anti-Human Trafficking Committee and chairs the Eastern Colorado Human Trafficking Subcommittee. In addition, she is an EAGALA-certified mental health provider, delivering equine-assisted psychotherapy groups to VA-enrolled Veterans.

Her publications include “The Impact of Human Trafficking on Veterans: Increasing Awareness Among Veterans and Employees through Education,” featured in Harvard Public Health Review, Edition 58.
