Gayla Elliott received her Master's degree in art therapy at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, and her Master's in counseling psychology at Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, OH. She is a registered art therapist with a long career of working in the field of trauma recovery. With 40+ years of providing art therapy services in many clinical settings, including the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, she is currently on staff at the Marcus Institute for Brain Health on the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado. Gayla lives in Denver.
