Andrea Kossoudji is the Implementation Lead for the Exposure Related Care Transformation (EXPRT) Center and Nurse Educator located within the New Jersey War Related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) and Health Outcomes Military Exposures (HOME).  Andrea started her career in the VA as a Patient Aligned Care Team RN Care Manager at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Prior to joining the VA, Andrea was an Army Nurse Corps Officer and served in a variety of clinical and operational roles, including a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011.  Andrea holds a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado with a specialty in Veteran and Military Health Care, is a certified in Ambulatory Care and is a Certified Occupational Health Nurse- Specialist. Andrea continues to work intimately with front-line staff to better understand the needs of healthcare staff providing care to Veterans with military environmental exposure concerns.
