Alyssa Musser is deeply committed to serving Veterans, a passion inspired by her father's service as a disabled Navy Veteran. Her diverse nursing career spans roles in Trauma, Emergency Medicine, General Medical Surgical Care, and Critical Care. Alyssa earned her MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Carson Newman University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society for academic excellence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Alyssa served as a Hospitalist, further honing her skills in patient care, and has also worked in Gastroenterology.

Since January of 2024, Alyssa has been an Environmental Health (EH) Clinician with VET-HOME and obtained level 1 and level 2 ACPM Military Environmental Exposure Certifications. With over a decade of experience as an Oracle Health Superuser, she currently contributes her expertise as a clinician and Oracle Health Liaison with VET-HOME.  Alyssa also spoke at the Military Environmental Exposure (MEE) Day of Learning in 2025 and 2026.
