Liliana Celesia Moore, MA is a researcher with the Northern California Institute for Research and Education (NCIRE) and the San Francisco Veteran’s Affairs Health Care System (SFVAHCS). Over the past 5 years she has worked as both a research coordinator and project manager on the Whole Health Options and Pain Education (wHOPE) study, of which the results were just published in JAMA! She has also worked on a variety of other research and quality improvement projects exploring chronic pain, mental health, integrative health, and healthcare access for veterans. Liliana also does qualitative research and enjoys interviewing veterans, analyzing qualitative data, writing manuscripts, and presenting qualitative research findings. This is her first time attending PVMH and she is very excited to share some of the qualitative findings from a recent Office of Rural Health grant in her presentation titled “Addressing Gaps in Pain Care Access: A Qualitative Study With Rural Veterans.”
