Dr. Sarah (Sarry) Moscatel has over 40 years of nursing experience working in hospitals within the private sector and Veteran Affairs Healthcare System.  Most of her clinical experience was in the ICU setting.  She completed a MS in Nursing exploring the promotion of community education for patient autonomy in end-of-life decisions. Later she received a PhD of Nursing from the University of Colorado that focused on the mindful realization of ICU nurses experience during end-of-life transitions.  Dr. Moscatel held several leadership roles working at the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System and retired in 2024. She continues to coach and mentor nurses interested in promoting the discipline of nursing and volunteers for several nursing organizations.
