Katie Queen, MD, FAAP, DABOM, FOMA is a board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine specialist who serves as Medical Director of the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Weight & Nutrition Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a leader in pediatric obesity care, education, and advocacy, with roles including President of the Louisiana Obesity Society, Vice President of the Louisiana Chapter of the AAP, and member of the AAP Section on Obesity Executive Committee. Dr. Queen’s work focuses on improving access to evidence-based, compassionate obesity treatment for children and adolescents, including through clinical care, provider education, research, and policy advocacy.
