Dr Okabe is a staff cardiac electrophysiologist at Swedish Heart and Vascular in Seattle, WA.  He undertook his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. During his time at Thomas Jefferson University, he was a recipient of several awards, including the best teaching resident and the best teaching fellow award. He went on to complete his cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Prior to joining Swedish Heart and Vascular team in 2023, he was Associate Professor at the Ohio State University.
