Dr. Tomio Tran is a cardiologist with subspecialty interests in cardiovascular imaging, cardiometabolic disease, lifestyle medicine, and sports cardiology/exercise physiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado, and returned to the University of Washington for his cardiology fellowship. Dr. Tran currently practices at the Puget Sound Department of Veterans Affairs, where his clinical and academic work focuses on advancing cardiovascular care for the Veteran population through multimodal imaging and a preventive, lifestyle-based approach to cardiometabolic health. His interests in sports cardiology and exercise physiology further inform his approach to risk assessment and performance-based care across the cardiovascular health spectrum.
