Iniya Rajendran, Iniya Rajendran MD MPH

Iniya Rajendran, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington, where she practices at the UW Medicine Heart Institute's Eastside Specialty Center in Bellevue, WA. She is a non-invasive cardiologist specializing in multimodality cardiac imaging — including echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI — with a particular clinical focus on the prevention of heart disease and a practice philosophy centered on personalized, holistic patient care.
Dr. Rajendran earned her medical degree (MBBS) from Imperial College School of Medicine and her MPH from Boston University School of Public Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, followed by a cardiology fellowship and an advanced cardiovascular imaging fellowship at the University of Arizona. She holds board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and cardiac CT.
