Rachel has over 20 years of experience in nursing and is a certified registered nurse anesthetist with extensive expertise in anesthesia for ENT and plastic surgery procedures. She was among the first graduates of an anesthesia program to receive exposure to ultrasound for regional anesthesia and intra-vessel line placement. Utilizing ultrasound guidance for injections and procedures has been a fundamental aspect of her practice.

In 2020, Rachel founded The Sandbar Beauty Company. At that time, ultrasound was emerging in the United States as a tool for managing vascular occlusions from aesthetic procedures. Leveraging her anesthesia background, Rachel quickly recognized the vast potential of ultrasound in aesthetic applications. She is dedicated to providing the safest and most precise treatments to her clients through the use of ultrasound technology. In addition to her clinical work, she trains other healthcare providers in basic to advanced aesthetic ultrasound techniques. Rachel is enthusiastic about contributing to this evolving field and educating those interested in integrating ultrasound into their practice.

Rachel is currently a PhD Nursing student at Florida State University. Her area of research focuses on the continued integration of ultrasound curriculum into nursing education.
