This expert-led session equips aesthetic providers with strategies to safely and effectively treat the rapidly growing Generation Z patient population.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other healthcare professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Tailor aesthetic care to developmental stage and life context across the Generation Z continuum, rather than treating the generation as a single group.
  • For younger patients entering aesthetic medicine, evaluate the appropriateness of common requests such as facial surgery to neuromodulators and filler, deliver guideline-based acne and skincare care, and apply the ethical, consent, and educational responsibilities of treating adolescents.
  • For young adults, apply aesthetic medicine responsibly around life inflection points, including filler selection and rheology, energy-based device candidacy, treatment timing, and “prejuvenation,” and distinguish marketing-driven claims from real-world evidence.
  • Describe screening for body dysmorphic disorder and Zoom dysmorphia, communication, and ethical patient-selection strategies across the continuum, including when non-treatment is the best option.
