Alicia Christy, M.D.

Dr. Alicia Christy is a physician, researcher and educator specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, graduated with honors from Northwestern University School of Medicine, and obtained a master’s degree in Health Science and Clinical Research from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and fellowship training at NIH. She is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She was the first female chair of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Walter Reed. While on active duty she also served as Consultant to the Army Surgeon General for Women’s Health Issues. Dr. Christy was a clinical researcher at NIH, and published over 80 peer-reviewed articles. She served as the Deputy Director of Reproductive Health with the Veterans Health Administration until her retirement in 2023. Dr. Christy holds the rank of professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is a faculty member of the Combined Federal Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
