Fina Meadows, MSNed, RN, CPAN, CAPA, NPD-BC

Michelle has been a nurse for 20 years, with experience in emergency nursing, perianesthesia nursing, and endoscopy/bronchoscopy. She currently works in Pre-Op and PACU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a member of the PACU Core team and is a former PACU nurse educator.
Michelle began her nursing career in the Emergency Department after earning her BSN from the Medical College of Georgia. She later earned her Master’s in Nursing Education from Western Governors University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Georgia.
She has been actively involved in The Perianesthesia Nurses Association of California (PANAC) and The American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). She has served as President and Education Chair of PANAC and is currently PANAC’s Immediate Past President and Interim Education Chair. At the national level, she serves on ASPAN’s Education Approver Committee and Standards Committee and is a team lead for the Clinical Practice Committee.
Michelle has a particular passion for education and for making complex clinical topics practical and relevant to bedside nurses. Some of her favorite topics to teach include perianesthesia certification, anesthesia agents and adjuncts, regional anesthesia, neurologic assessment, GLP-1 medications, and perianesthesia complications.
Outside of nursing, Michelle enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with her family, and life with her two miniature dachshunds, Fiona and Seamus.
