Aerodigestive Society Annual Conference 2026

La Jolla, CA US
November 5, 2026 to November 7, 2026

The Aerodigestive Society holds an annual CME Conference to support the most important updates in medical practice on an annual basis. The event is open to all health care providers.

Target Audience

Otolaryngology, pulmonology, gastro, speech-language, nursing, and APPs.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Improve the recognition, evaluation, and management of congenital and neonatal airway obstruction — including bilateral vocal fold immobility, the stridulous NICU infant, and type IV laryngeal cleft and other severe congenital anomalies — where evidence is limited and practice is highly variable.
  • Standardize the longitudinal care of children with tracheostomy and ventilator dependence, from placement through hospital-to-home transition and decannulation readiness.
  • Improve the diagnosis and management of pediatric dysphagia and esophageal disease, including EA/TEF, type 1 laryngeal cleft, and deep interarytenoid notch, using instrumental assessment and structured follow-up rather than symptom impression alone.
  • Familiarize the interdisciplinary team with emerging aerodigestive diagnostics and techniques, including their current evidentiary limits in children.
  • Strengthen interprofessional collaboration across otolaryngology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, speech-language pathology, nursing, and advanced practice providers so that assessment, communication, and family counseling are consistent across disciplines and care settings.
