Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurses and other health care providers involved in pediatric care.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Identify key components of the Bright Futures periodicity schedule that align with evidence-based pediatric preventive services and appropriate clinical documentation practices.
  • Apply strategies to accurately document and bill for recommended preventive services in order to optimize reimbursement and support high-quality patient care.
  • Analyze opportunities within current practice workflows to better integrate Bright Futures recommendations, improving both patient outcomes and financial sustainability.

Criteria for Success 
You must participate in the entire enduring activity to receive credit. Upon completion of the activity, you will be directed to an online post-test. To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 70% or better on the post-test is required. Following the post-test you will be directed to the activity evaluation.
