Oncology Massage: Safe Practice, Client Benefits, and Essential Treatment Techniques
BOC credit provided by Niel Asher. This course provides an overview of oncology massage principles and their role in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment and recovery. Nurses, including RNs, NPs, and CNSs, will explore how cancer and its treatments impact the body, and how appropriate supportive techniques can improve comfort, reduce symptom burden, and enhance quality of life. Emphasis is placed on patient safety, clinical considerations, and evidence-informed care approaches. The course supports nurses in integrating non-pharmacological strategies into comprehensive, patient-centered oncology care.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

- Apply appropriate supportive techniques to improve patient comfort and well-being.
