The Vital Glutes: Assessment, Activation, and Treatment Techniques

BOC credit provided by Niel Asher. This course focuses on the role of the gluteal muscles in movement, stability, and overall musculoskeletal health. Nurses, including RNs, NPs, and CNSs, will learn to recognize how gluteal dysfunction contributes to pain, mobility limitations, and injury risk in patient populations. The course introduces assessment strategies and practical techniques to support activation and functional improvement. Emphasis is placed on safe, patient-centered approaches that can complement nursing care in rehabilitation, fall prevention, and pain management.
