Dissecting Aesthetics Cadaver & Injection Course

August 15, 2026 to August 16, 2026

The learners will articulate a comprehensive understanding of facial aging and the appropriate application of dermal fillers and neurotoxins for rejuvenation with a focus on anatomy and patient safety. The course will include expert guidance, hands-on training and live demonstrations.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of Physicians, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses

Learning Objectives

  • Identify key anatomical structures including arteries, veins, nerves, ligaments, muscles, and fat compartments critical to aesthetic injections
  • Describe age-related changes in facial anatomy and differentiate treatment strategies based on tissue deflation, descent, and skeletal remodeling
  • Locate and analyze high-risk injection zones using cadaver dissection to prevent neurovascular compromise
  • Interpret variations in vascular and muscular anatomy and predict their impact on injection safety and technique selection
  • Demonstrate correct depth and location of product placement based on anatomical layers visualized during dissection
  • Apply anatomical knowledge to select appropriate injection planes and techniques for different treatment areas (e.g., temples, tear troughs, midface, chin)
  • Evaluate potential causes of complications such as vascular occlusion, nerve injury, or asymmetry through anatomical correlation
  • Develop safety strategies and response protocols based on understanding of anatomic danger zones and cadaveric exploration
  • Correlate cadaver findings with live ultrasound imaging to enhance real-time procedural accuracy
  • Formulate full-face aesthetic plans that integrate anatomical, safety, and aesthetic considerations for individualized patient care
