Management of Atrial Fibrillation in Athletes: An Impactful Microlearning Approach Focused on New Recommendations for Evaluating and Treating AF in Athletes

ATC's are within their scope to provide rehabilitation under the guide of a physician. They are also first responderns and first line with athletes and crucial in the referral process for proper care.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of Athletic Trainers, Nurses and Physicians.

Learning Objectives

 

  • Identify special considerations for the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation in athletes suspected of having atrial fibrillation.
  • Summarize clinical evidence regarding the safety and efficacy of catheter ablation for the treatment of atrial fibrillation in the athlete.
  • Apply guideline recommendations for the evaluation and management of athletes suspected of having atrial fibrillation.
