ForwardOrthoIllinois: Mastering Podiatry Coding
Podiatry office and surgical procedure coding can be challenging. This course will cover local coverage determinations (LCDs) and wound care management for office procedures. It will also cover common yet challenging bundling edits and modifier usage. This focused, practical program provides providers and their teams with a working review of the current guidelines and master podiatry coding concepts.
Target Audience
Physicians, Non-Physician Providers, Billing Managers, Coding/Billing Staff, Administrators, and Revenue Cycle Directors.

- Distinguish between billable and non-billable procedures in the foot and ankle.
- Identify common pitfalls associated with foot and ankle office procedures and their impact on coding.
- Implement correct coding from simple to complex Foot & Ankle surgical procedures.
