North Carolina Rheumatology Association 2026 Annual Conference

This live rheumatology educational conference is designed to provide practicing rheumatologists and other healthcare professionals with an evidence-based update on the diagnosis, management, and emerging therapies for complex rheumatic diseases. Through expert-led lectures, interactive case discussions, and guideline-focused sessions, participants will explore contemporary approaches to difficult-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis, lupus management, infection risk in immunosuppressed patients, IgG4-related disease, gout, sarcoidosis, and evolving cellular therapies such as CAR T in rheumatology. Additional sessions highlight the role of empathy and placebo response in clinical care, advocacy updates impacting rheumatology practice, and a comprehensive year-in-review of key advances in the field. Interactive knowledge sessions and fellow case presentations reinforce clinical decision-making and practical application of new evidence to improve patient outcomes in rheumatologic practice.
