Jhie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Queens College NC in 1994.  She began her career as a Staff Nurse 1 at Integrated Health System in 1994. She transferred to Carolinas Medical CV Step down unit in January of 1996 and cross trained at the Cardiovascular Recovery Unit in November 1996.She then accepted a position as Staff Nurse 1 in CVRU at the January of 1997. She became proficient in taking care of both Adult and Pediatric open heart surgery patients and served as both preceptor, lead nurse and eventually accepted the position of Assistant Nurse Manager.  In 2007, she transferred to Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute Device Management Clinic where she transitioned to caring for device patients in an outpatient basis.  She is currently the Lead Clinician for the Remote Monitoring Center at Sanger &Vascular Institute.
