Rod Rohrich, MD

Dr. Rod J. Rohrich is a world-renowned plastic surgeon based at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute and Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. He has served as President of ASPS, The Rhinoplasty Society, and multiple national organizations. He served as Editor-in-Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and PRS Global Open. He has nearly 2000 peer reviewed publications. While he was Chair of the Department of Plastic surgery at UT Southwestern, he transformed its program into one of the nation’s top training and research departments. Among his philanthropic contributions, he founded the Rod J. Rohrich MD Foundation to support medical students in North Dakota and the Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery (AiRS) to provide reconstructive care for breast-cancer survivors regardless of financial status. He has also established a plastic surgery Rohrich Family Visiting Professorship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Rohrich continues to travel worldwide, lecturing, operating live surgery cases, and shaping the next generation of plastic surgeons through both clinical practice and academic scholarship.
