Yuri Matusov, MD, FACP, ATSF

Yuri Matusov, MD, FACP, ATSF, is a pulmonary and critical care physician and researcher with an interest in the heart-lung interactions of pulmonary vascular disease and critical illness. His clinical and research work focuses on real-world outcomes in pulmonary vascular disease and new approaches to treating thromboembolic disease and pulmonary hypertension, particularly among patients who have coexisting lung disease. He is passionate about clinical education of resuscitation in shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and right ventricular failure in critical illness, as well as critical appraisal of clinical research. He is an active member of national committees in pulmonary vascular disease, sepsis, and shock. Dr. Matusov completed residency in internal medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Cedars-Sinai, where he now serves as the associate fellowship program director. He is co-director of the pulmonary hypertension program at Cedars-Sinai.
