Abi Kumaresan, is an anesthesiologist and intensivist specializing in cardiothoracic anesthesia and critical care.  She serves as Vice Chair for Academic Development for the Department of Anesthesiology, cardiac surgery ICU quality director, and co-chairs the hospital’s Code Blue Committee at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles.  Her research focuses on improving ICU quality and outcomes after critical illness, including global muscle dysfunction and post-ICU disability
