Nora Renthal, MD, PhD, is an Attending Pediatric Endocrinologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. She serves as Medical Director of the Skeletal Health Center and Director of the DXA Center for Pediatric Bone Density. Dr. Renthal leads multiple disability health equity initiatives, including the Collaborative for Disability Health Equity and Inclusion and the STRIDE program (Specialty Training in Disability Equity). Her clinical and research work focuses on skeletal health, pubertal development, and disability-competent care. Her group’s 2025 publication in The Journal of Sexual Medicine examined sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents with neuromuscular disorders.
