Jonathan S. Katz, MD, is a neurologist and neuromuscular specialist at California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) in San Francisco, where he serves as the Director of Clinical Trials for Sutter Health and Head of the Neurosciences Program at CPMC. His clinical and research work focuses on ALS, CIDP, myasthenia gravis, and other complex neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Katz has been an investigator in numerous national and international trials and has contributed to trial design, adjudication methodology, and diagnostic standardization. He developed the InCircle adjudication platform to improve the consistency and integrity of neuromuscular trial assessments.
He collaborates closely with the Forbes Norris ALS Research & Treatment Center and system-wide neuroscience programs to advance research infrastructure and expand access to high-quality neuromuscular care.
