Dr. Jaime Moore is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Nutrition at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Obesity Medicine. She sees patients and conducts clinical research in the Lifestyle Medicine and Bariatric Surgery clinics at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Her research is focused on personalizing obesity treatment using a combination of tools including lifestyle, pharmacotherapy, and bariatric surgery to achieve optimal health outcomes, and to minimize disparities driven by stigma and social vulnerability. She has led the development and implementation of clinical protocols for medications to treat obesity at Children’s Hospital Colorado, and has engaged in advocacy and policy to improve access to these evidence-based therapies.
