Dr. Bakri Elsheikh is Professor of Neurology at The Ohio State University and a board-certified adult neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine and clinical neurophysiology. He serves as Director of the Neuromuscular Division, the OSU Muscular Dystrophy Association Care Center, the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, and the Global Neurology Initiative. Dr. Elsheikh has extensive experience in patient-centered care, clinical research, and education. His research focuses on outcome measure development and therapeutic interventions in neuromuscular disorders, including muscular dystrophies, spinal muscular atrophy, myasthenia gravis, and myositis. .
