Tom Kai Ming Wang, MBChB, MD
Tom Kai Ming Wang, MBChB, MD, FRACP, FACC, FESC, FASE is a Staff Cardiologist in the Section of Cardiovascular Imaging of the Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Sydell and Arnold Miller Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute, at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, and co-director of the Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Pericardial Diseases. He is also Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. His clinical and research interests lie in valvular heart disease, pericardial diseases, coronary heart disease, aortic diseases, cardiomyopathies, and advanced multi-modality cardiovascular imaging. He has over 250 published articles and won multiple young investigator awards including with ACC-Ohio Chapter. He chaired the 2025 American College of Cardiology Concise Clinical Guidance document on Pericarditis and was also vice-chair on the writing group for the 2024 International Position Statement for Multi-Modality Imaging and Management of Pericardial Diseases.
