Dr. Wiernek specializes in structural heart interventions and serves as the Medical Director of the Structural Heart Program at Maine Medical Center. He completed advanced training in interventional and structural cardiology at UC San Diego and holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences. Dr. Wiernek also trained in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of North Carolina and Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital/Yale University.
