James McCabe

Dr. James (Jamie) McCabe joined Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center as the Section Head for Structural Heart and Director of the Center for Innovation in Invasive Cardiology in the Fall of 2025. He received his medical degree from Yale University and completed 10 years of post-medical school training at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School. Dr. McCabe previously spent 12 years at University of Washington in Seattle, WA where he culminated as a Professor of Medicine, the Section Chief of Interventional Cardiology and the David and Nancy Auth Endowed Chair in Cardiac Innovation. He is a nationally recognized clinician educator and investigator in transcatheter therapies for valvular heart disease.
