Cristian Rosu, MD

Dr. Rosu received his medical degree from McGill University in 2008. He then completed his residency in cardiac surgery at Université de Montréal (2014), while also obtaining a Master of Science degree. He subsequently undertook fellowship training in complex adult cardiac surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, aortic surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine, TAVI and advanced endovascular aortic repair at Oregon Health & Science University, and fenestrated and branched repair of aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aneurysms at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston. After two years of practice in Montreal, Dr Rosu underwent a formal vascular surgery fellowship at Université de Montréal (2022) and is now Royal College certified in both Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He joined the cardiac surgeon group of Maine Medical Center in the summer of 2023 where he acts as co-director of the Aortic Center.
