Dr Ahmed Ben said is one of the pioneers of orbital and ophthalmic plastic surgery in Tunisia and North Africa. He completed his ophthalmology training at Tunis El Manar University followed by advanced fellowship training at the university of Paris from 2001 to 2005, in several prestigious institutions including Bichat-Claude Bernard, Saint joseph Hospital, Foundation Ophtalmologique A. de Rothschild.

He is subspecialized in eyelid, facial aesthetic surgery and orbital surgery.

He is currently chief of the oculoplastic department at the Clinique ophtalmologique de Tunis, the largest private eye centre in North Africa

His clinic in Tunis attracts patients from all the north African region for diverse oculoplastic and cosmetic problems
