Vegas Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Dermatology (VCS) offers a premier, physician-led scientific program featuring live cadaver surgery, anatomy-based education, and multispecialty expertise. With a focus on surgical and nonsurgical techniques, patient safety, emerging technologies, and practice management strategies, VCS provides clinically relevant, real-world education tailored to elevate outcomes in aesthetic medicine and surgery.
Target Audience
This educational activity is designed for board certified or board eligible in plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, dermatology, and oculoplastic surgery, nurses and other healthcare professionals working directly with one of those specialists.
Learning Objectives
- Summarize evidence-based surgical and nonsurgical approaches and techniques for facial and body rejuvenation.
- Implement strategies and protocols for the recognition, prevention, and management of complications such as vascular events, granulomas, and delayed inflammatory reactions.
- Create comprehensive treatment protocols for aesthetic procedures involving energy-based devices and/or injectables.
- Outline patient and treatment considerations for facial, neck, and/or body rejuvenation procedures.
- Apply the principles of functional medicine and systems-based care to optimize dermatologic and aesthetic outcomes.
- Evaluate emerging trends in body contouring, patient preferences, and nonsurgical enhancement techniques.
- Discuss bio-stimulatory and bioregenerative treatments that enhance the body’s natural tissue regeneration.
- Develop strategies for successful practice management, workflow efficiency, and patient engagement.
