Dr. Joely Kaufman is a board certified dermatologist and the director of Skin Associates of South Florida. She served as full time faculty at the University of Miami Miller school of medicine for 7 years, teaching residents and fellows on dermatology and cosmetic procedures. She is extensively involved in clinical research at the Skin Research Institute and serves as a principal investigator for clinical trials in dermatology and aesthetic medicine, including FDA pivotal trials on neuromodulators, fillers, and energy based devices. She is the author on over 90 peer reviewed publications in the field of dermatology and lectures nationally and internationally on these topics. She is passionate about giving back to the field as a member and committee chair of the ASDS and AAD, and serves on many boards, including being past president and vice president of both the Florida Academy of Dermatology and the Miami society for dermatology.
