Ellen Kitchell, MD is a Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Geographic Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and serves as Medical Director of HIV Services at Parkland Health in Dallas. She also directs the UT Southwestern HIV Medicine Fellowship program. Dr. Kitchell has cared for thousands of people living with HIV and focuses on improving engagement in care, advancing low-barrier care models, and addressing disparities in HIV outcomes. She is a recipient of Parkland Health’s Physician of the Year award as well as UT Southwestern teaching and clinical excellence awards. She is committed to strengthening trust and equity in HIV care across diverse patient populations.
