Douglas Cathey, MSW, is a licensed social worker and medical case manager at Alamo Area Resource Center in San Antonio, supporting individuals living with HIV through compassionate and client-centered care. He earned his undergraduate degree from West Texas A&M University and his graduate degree from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. With nearly four years of experience serving those living with HIV, Douglas is dedicated to advancing health equity and improving access to resources and care in his community with a practice grounded in commitment to social justice and meaningful community impact.
