2026 HIV & Aging Symposium
The 2026 HIV and Aging Symposium will have presentations from subject matter experts to increase the knowledge and tools of local healthcare professionals to support their patients aging with HIV. Topics include local HIV and Aging Data, Physical Function and Body Composition and Grief and Isolation.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for an audience of physicians, nurses, physician assistants, social workers,clinic administrators, and other healthcare professionals.
Learning Objectives
After completing of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Review the current landscape of the aging HIV population with an emphasis on Texas-based data.
- Identify the gaps in healthcare and related practices that improve the care received by the aging HIV population.
- Discuss the importance of how the approach to caring for older patients with HIV is unprecedented and innovation is needed to better serve this priority population.

Criteria for Success
