Dr. Kavitha M. Chinnaiyan is Professor of Medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and immediate Past President of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT). She has led numerous multicenter clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives that have helped shape contemporary cardiac CT practice. Dr. Chinnaiyan's work focuses on cardiovascular imaging, prevention, heart disease in women, sustainability in healthcare, and physician well-being. She has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications.
