Dr. Sanjay Dandamudi is the Chief of Electrophysiology and Medical Director of the EP lab at Corewell Health -West. He specializes in arrhythmia management, including cardiac device therapy and ablation procedures. 

Dr. Dandamudi completed his Bachelor’s in Culture, Health and Medicine from the University of Michigan. He completed a Masters in Science in Physiology and Biophysics and then attended medical school at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Dandamudi then went on to complete fellowship programs in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology from Northwestern in Chicago, IL. 

Dr. Dandamudi joined the faculty of Corewell Health as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist in 2017 and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine through the Michigan State University medical school. Dr. Dandamudi has served as an investigator on several industry- and NIH-sponsored clinical trial as well as investigator-initiated studies. Dr. Dandamudi assumed the role of Electrophysiology Section Chief in 2024 and oversees 9 EP physicians, 9 advanced practice providers, and an experienced team of specialized EP nurses. The Corewell Health – West EP program has the highest AF ablation volume in the state and is the only ACC Accredited EP lab in Michigan.
