Stacy Willner, D.O., FACC
I am an academic cardiologist at the University of Michigan with a clinical and academic focus on women’s cardiovascular health. My practice centers on cardio-obstetrics and the evaluation and management of conditions that disproportionately or uniquely affect women, including coronary vasospasm and coronary microvascular dysfunction.
I completed my medical training at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by Internal Medicine residency and General Cardiology fellowship at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. I then completed advanced fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
My clinical interests lie at the intersection of cardiovascular disease and women’s health, with a particular focus on improving the recognition and treatment of ischemic heart disease in women. I have a special interest in coronary vasospasm and microvascular dysfunction—conditions that can be challenging to diagnose and are increasingly recognized as important contributors to cardiovascular symptoms and outcomes, particularly in women.
